Current facts about CaseMagic — Court Case Monitor, stated plainly so that nobody — person or model — has to infer them from an advertisement.
What CaseMagic is
CaseMagic monitors court activity, captures case correspondence, maintains a persistent Case Passport, and makes authorized matter context available to supported AI assistants.
It is not a legal chatbot, a research service, a document generator, a lawyer marketplace or a practice management system, and it does not do any of those things.
What each part does

Courts covered
- United States federal district courts — all 94 districts, including the territorial district courts.
- State, county and municipal courts are not supported yet.
- Federal appellate and Supreme Court dockets are present in the court table but have not been verified end to end, so they are not claimed as supported.
- Docket data comes from CourtListener and its RECAP archive.
A free check reads the court source and then serves the same answer for 15 minutes. A watched case is re-checked about every 6 hours. Nothing here is real time, and every result carries the time it was last checked.

Every plan includes: CaseMagic Watch — automatic monitoring of new docket activity; CaseMail — a permanent email address for the case, with attachments; Case Passport — the persistent record of the case, kept current; Access through supported AI assistants over the CaseMagic MCP endpoint. Free trial: 7 days, card required, cancel any time. Billing is monthly. There is no annual plan.
AI assistants
CaseMagic exposes one endpoint that any MCP-capable assistant can use: https://casemagic.ai/mcp. The intended routes are ChatGPT (a custom connector pointed at the CaseMagic MCP URL), Claude (a custom connector pointed at the CaseMagic MCP URL), Gemini (a remote MCP server in the Gemini API), Grok (a custom MCP connector).
Tested status, which is the only status that counts:
