What CaseMagic is

CaseMagic reads public United States federal district court dockets, reports what they say, monitors connected cases for new activity, receives email sent to a case address, and makes that record available to AI assistants you authorize.

What it is not

• CaseMagic is not a law firm, is not your lawyer, and gives no legal advice. Nothing it produces is a substitute for a lawyer.
• It does not file anything with any court.
• It does not calculate or report your deadlines.
• It is not affiliated with PACER, CourtListener, the federal judiciary or any court.

Accuracy

CaseMagic reports what its court source returns. Court data can be incomplete, delayed or wrong at the source, and CaseMagic cannot correct it. Every result carries the time it was last checked, and nothing here is real time. Do not rely on CaseMagic as your only source for anything with a consequence attached; check the docket itself before acting.

Billing

• Plans are monthly. The 7-day trial requires a card and converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
• Cancel any time; the subscription runs to the end of the period you paid for.
• Each plan has a limit on how many matters can be monitored at once. The limit is enforced when you start monitoring, not by charging you for the excess.

Acceptable use

• Do not use CaseMagic to harass anyone, and do not use case data to do anything unlawful.
• Do not use the free lookup as a bulk docket mirror. It is rate limited, and accounts that work around the limit can be closed.
• Do not use CaseMail to send anything you would not put your own name to. Every outbound message requires your own confirmation, and it is sent as you.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time by emailing support@casemagic.ai. We can suspend an account that breaks these terms. Your data is deleted on request, as described in the privacy policy.
